Founder and Managing Director
Tom Davies is pobl.’s founder and was previously talent acquisition director at AMICULUM, an international healthcare communications business.
In his 8+ years in medical communications, Tom has helped hundreds of medical writers, account handlers, creative, and business support colleagues develop fulfilling careers. Following the success of AMICULUM’s in-house talent function, he established and led Ambit, a spin-out recruitment consulting business that provided services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device clients.
Tom is highly experienced in recruitment search and selection, hiring strategy, employer branding, business partnering, academic outreach, graduate programmes, and the implementation of technology to enable sustainable hiring processes.

Lindsey joined Tom a year into his pobl. adventure, bringing her medcomms credentials, leadership experience and executive coaching qualifications into the mix.
Since early Medical Affairs roles in the pharmaceutical industry, the mainstay of Lindsey’s career has been in medical communications – delivering exceptional client service and growing agency business while developing people and leading teams, in senior client services and leadership roles at 7.4 (AMICULUM) and Envision Pharma Group. Whether providing strategic guidance for multiple accounts, heading up commercial and operational functions, or growing a global division, talent strategy has been the defining thread running through Lindsey’s 25 years’ experience.
From empowering individuals, improving performance and managing resourcing, to championing informed and inclusive recruitment, Lindsey has consistently focused on engaging the people that ensure teams and organisations thrive.

Although we’re happy with our transport links to the North West of England and major UK cities like Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London, our remote-first approach means we’ve successfully completed hiring projects in locations as far away as the USA, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
Being remote-first also brings unique advantages: time is no barrier to our consulting services and we’re always available for our clients.
